The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos met today, Wednesday 2 June 2021, with the Ambassador of Albania Ms. Luela Hajdaraga to discuss matters of bilateral defence cooperation, as well as the recent developments in the broader region.

At their talks, the wish to enhance defence cooperation among the two countries was expressed. Moreover, the importance attributed to the implementation of the Agreement of Cemetaries for
the Greek soldiers fallen in the Greco-Italian war 1940-1941 was highlighted.
