The Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias, on Monday 18 October 2021, accompanied by the Chief/HNDGS General Konstantinos Floros and the Chief/HNGS Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis HN, visited the Hellenic Fleet HQ at the Salamis Naval Base, where he was received by the Commander in Chief of ellenic Fleet, Vice Admiral Panagiotis Lymperis HN.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence was briefed on the organisation, mission, key projects, current operational and training activities of the Fleet HQ, as well as on the operational readiness of its units.
Afterwards, he visited submarine “PAPANIKOLIS” and frigate “SALAMIS”, and discussed with the personnel.
