Ladies and gentlemen

I appreciate the opportunity to represent the Department of Defence this morning in your premises, regarding this excellent plan concerning  missile patriot.

I say so, because the upgrade of LAVRIO premises and the technological capabilities of the company, is not only a success, but also it is a landmark in the history of the Greek industry, considering the fiscal situation of our country nowadays.

Needless to say, that we face the reality, to do more while paying less!!!  My strongly belief is that this is the way of the future. The situation is extremely difficult, but difficult is not impossible.

This upgrade not only improves the operational capabilities of our Armed Forces, but also supports  the national economy interests.

My  being among you today is proof that your decision in the right  direction. I would like to underline what Mr. Pilalis said. What I keep in my mind is that this capability is unique in Europe such as “Missile Assembly Disassembly Facility” totally meeting NAMSA requirements.

The Ministry of Defence encourages this initiative, with strategic planning and vision. We will be next to you, supporting any initiative that leads Greece toward to the goal of success we need.
