The operation for the air transportation of Greek and foreign citizens on board the “Norman Atlantic” ferry is ongoing. The citizens boarded a C-130 transport aircraft of the Hellenic AF, from Lecce and Bari in Italy, and they are flying to Elefsis Air Base.
On board the aircraft are 43 citizens, forty of which are Greek and three are foreigners.
The C-130 is heading to Elefsina, where it is expected to land later this night.
