The Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas, representing the Government, on Sunday, August 28, 2016, attended an event held on Poros Island, to celebrate the anniversary of the delimitation of Greece’s first national borders in 1828. The Alternate Minister attended the memorial service and laid a wreath on the Ioannis Kapodistrias’ monument. On Saturday evening, he had attended an event at the old Russian dockyard of Poros island which was organized as part of Greece-Russia cross cultural year.
