The Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas attended South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial (SEDM 2016) which was held in Rome, as well as the celebration of the 20-year anniversary since the creation of SEDM, on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
During the Ministerial, the Alternate Minister met ministers and officials of other member-states of the organization and discussed the developments in the wider area of the South-eastern Mediterranean, as well as the new challenges in defence and security matters.
On Wednesday, October 19, he will visit Naples and the NATO HQ where he will be briefed on the operation of the Headquarters and he will meet the Greek military personnel.
