The Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas will attend on Saturday, May 14 2016, the celebrations entitled ROUPEL 1941 – THE REVIVAL, at the Forts of Roupel and Istibey. The celebrations, which are organised for the weekend May 14-15 by the Municipality of Sintiki, are under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Interior and Administrative Reconstruction.
On Sunday May 15, the Alternate Minister will represent the government to the celebrations, which will take place in the presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos, in honour of the city’s patron saint, Saint Achilles.
