Alternate Defence Minister Panos Rigas and the Governor of the Region  of Attica Rena Dourou signed a Programme Contract for the design and  contruction of new Pharmaceutical Laboratories in 441st Base Medical

The Alternate Minister of National Defence Panos Rigas and the Governor of the Region of Attica Rena Dourou signed a Programme Contract, on 3 July 2019, for the design and construction of a new building of Pharmaceutical Laboratories in the 441st Base Medical Supplies Depot, of a budget of 590,000 euros VAT included.

This is one more initiative taken by the Region of Attica in the context of its cooperation with the Ministry of National Defence, in order to upgrade healthcare services in the Armed Forces, after a procurement of medical-technological and mechanical equipment was financed to meet the needs of the military hospitals in Attica Region, amounting to 20 million euros.

This design regards the construction of a new building of Pharmaceutical Laboratories of a total surface of 3,600 sqm approximately, in “Apostolidis” Camp, which will be used for the production of pharmaceutical supplies, including injection products. The building will be comprised of main and service spaces, electrical-mechanical premises and the necessary mechanical equipment, which ensures the unimpeded operation of the productive procedure of all its products. It also provides for the construction of all the surrounding area of the building, as well as for the construction of a new gate into the Camp.
