The Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas is paying a two-day visit (Friday 7 and Saturday 8 April 2017) to Thessaloniki, Kilkis and Istibei Fort in Serres.
The Alternate Minister on Friday, in Thessaloniki, will address the AUSA seminar “Doing business with the US Government” held at the Thessaloniki Officers Club and he well also visit the 71 Airborne Brigade. In Kilkis he will meet with the local authorities.
On Saturday, the Minister will visit Fort Istibei and will attend the commemorative celebrations in honour of the battle of forts during the German invasion which began on April 6, 1941.
