The Alternate Minister of National Defence Fotis Kouvelis met today with the Commander of the Secretariat of the Supreme Armed Forces Sports Council, Captain Spyridon Andriopoulos HN.
In should be noted that the Commander of the Supreme Armed Forces Sports Council has won many distinctions at European and International level in Marathon and 10.000 m events in the past.
During the meeting, Mr. Kouvelis congratulated Mr. Andriopoulos on his election as Board of Directors member of the International Military Sports Council (CISM).
At the same time, they discussed the way forward to reinforce the Supreme Armed Forces Sports Council and engage it more in highlighting and promoting sports and the sports ideals to the Armed Forces and society.
They also examined measures to be taken in the near future in order for the Hellenic Armed Forces to win even more distinctions at European and International level.
