The Alternate Minister of National Defence Panaghiotis Rigas attended today the blessing in the Child Care Station in Papagou Camp (Ministry of National Defence). The ceremony was also attended by the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN and representatives of the General Staffs.
In his address, the Alternate Minister of National Defence expressed his wishes for a happy school year and stressed to the parents present that the leadership of the Ministry of National Defence supports the military and civilian personnel with targeted initiatives and interventions, within the framework of its Personnel Welfare policy.
The station is housed in a new building, whose construction was completed in 2017. It can provide child care for infants and toddlers of military and civilian personnel of all three Services of the Armed Forces serving in the Prefecture of Attica.
