The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos made the following statement, in response to information transmitted by the Media, regarding the resignation of the Director of Army Aviation:

“The Armed Forces have been, are and will be at the forefront of the battle, throughout all of our nation’s adversities, thanks to the tireless efforts of the Personnel, who ensure the highest operational and functional efficiency of the means.

Therefore, at such critical times, we call on everyone to be careful and avoid referring, particularly with official releases, to resignations which are not true.“
