In the context of the Armed Forces’ contribution to the restitution of damages caused by severe weather conditions in Crete, the works for the placement of two Bailey bridges have been completed, in Chania prefecture.

Specifically, one bridge was placed in Pantelari and it became operational since the morning hours of 5 March 2019. The second bridge, not yet operational, was placed in Platanias, pending approval by the local government for the works to commence.
