By decision of the Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, Mr. Dimitrios Politopoulos, CEO of the Macedonian – Thrace Brewery and the TUVUNU company, which produce natural Greek beverages, was awarded the Commendation Medal Star of Merit and Honour, in recognition of his distinguished services to the country and particularly for the enhancement of financial activity and employment in the broader region of borderline Thrace where, among other things, he employs 300 families of Pomaks whose basic professional activity is the cultivation of Greek mountain tea. Therefore, their income is significantly enhanced.
