Upon unanimous decision of the Joint Chiefs of General Staff Council, upon recommendation of the Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Kammenos, Mr. Iakovos Tsounis was awarded the Star for Valour and Honour for his distinguished services to the Armed Forces and the Nation.
The award ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Armed Forces.
