The Joint Chorus of the Armed Forces,  the Joint Military Band along with  the Cretan Traditional Dancers Club and the Cultural Music Group of Kastelorizo sang the Christmas Carols to the political and military leadership of the Ministry of National Defence. The Minister of National defence Panos Kammenos stated the following:   

“ On behalf of the political and military leadership of the Armed Forces allow me to wish a Merry Christmas  to all officers, NCOs, draftees and territorial guards, reservists, retired officers and members of the Armed Forces and their families.

I wish to you all who serve your country throughout the Greek territory, as well as abroad ,  to be happy, have a high morale and keep offering your services to the country, for the benefit of the Greek people.

I thank you all because, indeed,  this year you have outdone yourselves and we feel extremely happy because this last year was the year of “ Reservists and Territorial Guards” and the Greek people have proved that they are by the side of the Armed Forces and the Armed Forces are totally united with the Greek people.

I would like to reassure all Greek citizens that they should be feeling secure, since our Armed Forces have the most powerful weapon system, which is their personnel, officers, NCOs, draftees, territorial guards, and the Greek society as a whole.
