The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos had today, 30 April 2020, a telephone communication with his Canadian counterpart Mr. Harjit Sajjan, who thanked him for the immediate response and participation of the Greek Armed Forces in the S&R mission for the Canadian helicopter in the Ionian Sea, in Rome’s FIR.
The Minister of National Defence extended to his Canadian counterpart his sincere condolences following the tragic military accident.
