By decision of the Minister of National Defence Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos, the civilian personnel on active duty (permanent and contract employees governed by private law) and the members of their families are allowed to use the Officer’s Clubs of all three Branches of the Armed Forces, only paying the value of the mess, without the obligation to pay subscription payment.
This right is also extended to the children of civilian personnel attending Higher Educational Institutions, regardless of their parents’ residence.
The relevant decision is within the framework of special protection measures that has been formed by order of the Minister of National Defence and under the coordination of the Special Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence Mr. Antonis Oikonomou, and is implemented gradually to the profit of the entire personnel at the Ministry of National Defence.
