On Tuesday, 29 January 2019, the Governmental Council on Foreign Policy and National Defence met and decided on the assignments of the below Lieutenant Generals, Vice Admirals, Lieutenant Generals (HAF), Major General, and Major General (HAF) as follows:

a. ARMY

(1) Lieutenant General Antonios Nomikos as Army Inspector General – Commander, Training Doctrine Command.

(2) Lieutenant General Konstantinos Floros as Commanding General, Hellenic First Army.

(3) Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis as Commanding General, D Army Corps.

(4) Lieutenant General Dimitrios Bonoras as Deputy Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff.

(5) Lieutenant General Konstantinos Koutras as Commanding General, C Army Corps/NRDC-GR.

(6) Lieutenant General Konstantinos Masouras as Chief of Staff of the Hellenic Army General Staff.

(7) Lieutenant General Vasilios Papadopoulos as Commanding General, Higher Army Support Military Command.

(8) Lieutenant General Georgios Dimitropoulos as Commanding General, Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands.

(9) Major General Petros Demestichas as Chief of Staff of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff.

b. NAVY

(1) Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis HN as Chief of the Hellenic Fleet.

(2) Vice Admiral Ioanis Paxivanakis HN as Deputy Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff.

(3) Vice Admiral (Eng) Aristidis Alexopoulos HN as Commander, Navy Logistics Command.

c. AIR FORCE

(1) Lieutenant General (HAF) Themistoklis Bourolias as Chief of Hellenic Tactical Air Force.

(2) Lieutenant General (HAF) Lambrakis Dimitriou as Commandant, Hellenic National Defence College.

(3) Lieutenant General (HAF) Konstantinos Arapis as Air Force Inspector General.

(4) Major General (HAF) Athanasios Savopoulos as Commander, Air Force Support Command.
