Today, Friday 17 January 2020, the Governmental Council on Foreign
Policy and National Defence,
chaired by the Prime Minister Mr. KYRIAKOS MITSOTAKIS,
met to decide upon the new leadership of the Armed Forces.
It unanimously decided the following:
Lieutenant General (INF) Konstantinos Floros is the incoming
Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff (Chief/HNDGS).
Lieutenant General (ARM) Charalambos Laloussis is the incoming
Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff (Chief/HAGS).
Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis HN is the incoming
Chief of Hellenic Navy General Staff (Chief/HNGS).
Lieutenant General (HAF) Georgios Blioumis remains
Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff (Chief/HAFGS).
