The National Security Governmental Council decided:

1. The assignment of Lieutenant Generals, Vice Admirals, Air Force Lieutenant Generals as well as of an Air Force Major General in the place of an Air Force Lieutenant General, as follows:

a. ARMY

(1) Lieutenant General Petros Demestichas, as Commander of the 1st Army.

(2) Lieutenant General Angelos Ilaridis, as Army Inspector General – Commander of Training Doctrine.

(3) Lieutenant General Nikolaos Flaris, as Commander of the Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands.

(4) Lieutenant General Themistoklis Grybiris, as Commander of the National Defence College.

(5) Lieutenant General Georgios Tsitsikostas, as Army Reorganization Inspector – Coordinator for the Establishment of Special Warfare Command – Commander of Special Warfare Command (upon its activation).

(6) Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis, as Commander of the D Army Corps.

(7) Lieutenant General Kellis Georgios, as HAGS/Deputy Chief.

(8) Lieutenant General Spanos Anastasios, as Commander of the C Army Corps/NRDC-GR.

(9) Lieutenant General Ioannis Papanagnostou, as HAGS/Chief of Staff.

b. AIR FORCE

(1) Lieutenant General Georgios Fasoulas, as HNDGS/Chief of Staff.

(2) Lieutenant General Georgios Karadimas, as HAFGS/Inspector General.

(3) Major General Georgios Vagenas, as Commander of the Air Support Command.

2. The following officers retain their positions:

a. ARMY

(1) Lieutenant General Leonidas Kakavas, as Commander of the Higher Army Support Military Command.

b. NAVY

(1) Vice Admiral Panagiotis Lymberis, as Fleet Commander.

(2) Vice Admiral Ioannis Drymousis, as HNDGS/Deputy Chief.

(3) Vice Admiral Georgios Bablenis, as Commander of the Naval Logistics Command.

c. AIR FORCE

(1) Lieutenant General Themistoklis Bourolias, as Chief of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force.
