The Minister of National Defence, Dimitris Avramopoulos, met today in his office, in the Ministry of National Defence, with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Greece, Vladimir Chkhikvishvili.
During their meeting, Mr. Avramopoulos and Mr. Chkhikvishvili discussed matters of mutual interest under the responsibility of the Ministry of National Defence, as well as matters pertinent to the relations of Greece and Russia, taking into consideration the visit of the Russian Federation Defence Minister, Sergey Shoigu, to our country in early December.
A special reference was made to Syria.
