On Tuesday, September 17, the Minister of National Defence Ioannis Giagkos visited 115 CW at Souda, where he addressed the Unit’s flying and technical personnel. He also visited the working places and the Readiness crews.

Moreover, he met with the Commander of the NATO Missile Firing Installation (NAMFI) Lieutenant General Lazaros Skylakis, the Commander of the Naval Dock of Crete, Commodore Panagiotis Chatzakis HN and the Commander of the 5th Infantry Brigade (V Cretan Division), Brigadier General Dimitris Karamouzas.

Afterwards, he laid wreath at the monument of the fallen aviator Captain Kostas Iliakis.
