The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos had a telephone conversation today, Monday 9 January 2023, with the Defence Minister of Germany Mr. Christine Lambrecht, during which they discussed further enhancement of the bilateral defence cooperation and the developments in Ukraine.
Matters pertaining to the implementation of the Agreement for the allocation of BMP-1 type Armoured Vehicles to Ukraine, replaced by German “Marder” type Armoured Vehicles, were also discussed.
