The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos had a telephone conversation today, Thursday 12 January 2023, with the Defence Minister of Israel Mr. Yoav Galant.
The importance of the strategic defence relations between Greece and Israel for security and stability in the broader region was highlighted.
In addition, the excellent level of cooperation between the two countries’ Armed Forces and the mutually beneficial cooperation in the defence industry were welcomed. The fact that the Trilateral Cooperation between Greece, Cyprus and Israel builds up to security in the Eastern Mediterranean was also highlighted during their talks.
