The Minister of National Defence visited the house of Admiral’s Nikolaos Pappas family at noon.
Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos who, due to the official visit he will make on Monday and Tuesday in Lebanon he will not be able to attend the funeral, personally condoled the wife and the two sons of the deceased, Rear Admiral Velissarios Pappas and Mr. Panagiotis Pappas.
Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos, after praising the struggles this heroic Admiral made for Democracy’s sake, as well as his great offer to the Country, which are a brilliant example for the generations to come, pointed out the irreplaceable void the loss of Nikos Pappas is leaving to the Armed Forces great family.
