The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikos Dendias will be paying an official visit to the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday and Thursday (6-7 September 2023).
The Minister of National Defence will meet with the Minister of State for Defence of the UAE Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Bawardi.
During the meeting, they will discuss the further deepening of the strategic defence relation between Greece and UAE, the security situation in the wider region of Eastern Mediterranean and the Gulf, as well as the promotion of the bilateral cooperation in the field of defence industry and technology.
Mr. Dendias will also meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
