The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias and the Chief/HNDGS General Konstantinos Floros accompanied the Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis during his visits at the Underwater Demolition Command in Skaramangas and the Special Forces Training Centre in Megalo Pefko.
They were also accompanied by the Chief/HAGS Lieutenant General Angelos Houdeloudis, the Chief/HNGS Vice Admiral Ioannis Drymoussis, the Commanding General of the Special Warfare Command of HNDGS Lieutenant General Dimitrios Houpis, the Commander of the Underwater Demolition Command Captain Konstantinos Nassopoulos and the National Security Adviser Mr. Thanos Dokos.
At the Underwater Demolition Command headquarters, a small scale demonstration exercise took place, with the participation of nine senior students of the 197-198 Training Series, whereas at the Special Forces Training Centre a demonstration took place with helicopters, Zodiac speedboats, jet skis and parachutists deployment, with the objective of occupying the coastline and rescuing a hostage.
