The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos attended today, Monday 27 December 2021, the signing of the contract for the transfer by donation of two (2) new complete high pressure air supply systems, similar to those installed on the Hellenic Navy frigates, between the Chief/HNGS Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis HN and the President of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, and honorary Rear Admiral Mr. Panagiotis Laskaridis.
At the ceremony, the Minister of National Defence warmly thanked Mr. Panagiotis Laskaridis, whose kind donation will contribute to the modernisation of critical systems of the type “S” frigates’ propulsion installation.
The signing ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Hardalias, and the Chief/HNDGS General Konstantinos Floros.
