The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos will travel for Brest, France, on Wednesday 12 January, in order to participate in the Informal Meeting of European Union’s Defence Ministers, which will last until Thursday 13 January 2022.
The works of the Meeting include the consideration of topics regarding the Common Security and Defence Policy and the Strategic Compass of the European Union, which will be approved by the French Presidency, in order for the “European Defence White Book” to be created.
After the session of the Informal Meeting, following an invitation by his French counterpart Ms. Florence Parly, the Minister of National Defence will visit the shipyard of the “Naval Group” in Lorient, where he will tour the premises where FDI class frigates are built.
