The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos had a courtesy meeting, on Tuesday 01 November 2022, with the new ambassador of Israel Mr. Noam Katz.

During the discussion, they underscored the importance of the strong and long-lasting ties of friendship and cooperation between Greece and Israel and of their strategic defence relation for the security and defence of both countries, as well as for the stability and prosperity of the wider region.

They also stressed their common will to further reinforce the mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of armament programmes.
