The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos visited today, Tuesday 15 March 2022, the Hellenic National Defence College, where he addressed the students of the 74th Training Series.
In his address, the Minister raised the need for the Armed Forces personnel to prioritise a rethinking process, a change of the reaction and response within a more complicated and complex geopolitical environment,
which poses multiple challenges. He also pointed out that the Armed Forces are called to tackle successive and parallel crises, in very different terms that the ones that have applied in the past.
Mr. Panagiotopoulos attached great importance to the excellent relations with allied and friend countries, such as Israel, the UAE and many Balkan countries that share the same views with Greece, he praised our country’s level of relations with the US and France, and he also referred to the developments in Ukraine.
The Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Chief /HNDGS Vice Admiral Ioannis Drymoussis HN.
