The Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos will fly today, Sunday 17 July 2022, to the United States of America, responding to an invitation extended by his American
counterpart, Mr. Lloyd Austin.
During his visit, Mr. Panagiotopoulos will meet at the Pentagon with his American counterpart tomorrow, Monday 18 July at 21:00, (Greek time).
The meeting will be preceded by meetings with the leadership and officials of the “Heritage Institute” think tank, as well as with senior officials of the State Department at 17:00 and 18:30 (Greek time) respectively.
Afterwards, the Minister of National Defence will meet with the PEO of the F-35 Programme at the US Pentagon, Lt Gen Michael Smidt, as well as with the President of the American-Hellenic Institute (AHI) Mr. Nick Larigakis.
