The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias, accompanied by the Chief/HNDGS General Dimitrios Houpis, observed from frigate “SPETSAI” on the night of Monday 3/6/2024, objects of the exercise “KATAIGIS 24”, which takes place in the broader area of the East and South Aegean.
The Chief/HAGS Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, the Chief/HNGS Vice Admiral Dimitrios Kataras HN, the Chief/HAFGS Lieutenant General Dimosthenis Grigoriadis and the Chief of Fleet Vice Admiral Polychronis Koulouris HN also observed the exercise.
During his presence there, Mr. Dendias had the opportunity to be briefed on the scenarios of the exercise “KATAIGIS 24”, the Hellenic Navy’s Exercise which takes place annually and provides the participation of
personnel and Units of the Hellenic Army and the Hellenic Air Force, with the object of establishing jointness on the field.
