The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias pays tomorrow, Monday 4 March 2024,
an official visit to Armenia, where he will meet with the Armenian Defence Minister, Suren Papikyan.
At their meeting, matters pertaining to further strengthening the bilateral defence cooperation, as well as the developments in regional and international matters in the field of Security and Defence, will be discussed.
The meeting between the two Ministers of Defence is the second to take place within a short period of time, as a meeting of Mr. Dendias and Mr. Papikyan had preceded in Athens, on 14 December 2023.
In the framework of his visit to Yerevan, The Minister of National Defence will be received by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and he will also meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ararat Mirzoyan.
In the course of his visit, the Minister of National Defence will lay a wreath to the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide.
