The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias sent the Ministry of Labour a proposal for the establishment of a battle-worthiness clause to be included in the new manner of calculating the lump sum benefits offered to the military personnel.
This proposal will prevent the sharp reduction of the lump sum benefits, it will ensure the sustainability of the Funds and the gradual convergence of the benefits awarded to those provided for by the aforementioned Ministerial Decision.
