The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias made the following statement regarding the Hellenic Air Force jet crash during an exercise in Spain:
“We express our sorrow and grief for the tragic consequences of the Hellenic Air Force jet crash, during an exercise with our friend and ally, Spain. During these hours, our thoughts are with the families of the Greek Officers, as well as with the families of the vistims of all nationalities”.
