The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias visited today, Wednesday 15 May 2024, the HQ of the XXIV Armoured Brigade (1st Cavalry Regiment – “FLORINA”) in Litohoro, accompanied by the Defence Ministry’s General Secretary, Antonis Oikonomou.
Mr. Dendias, at the presence of the Commanding General of 1st Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS”,Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstantakos, and the Commander of the XX Armoured Division “Cavalry Division – MAKEDONIA”, Major General Elias Kostakis, was briefed by the Commander of the XXIV Armoured Brigade (1st Cavalry Regiment – “FLORINA”), Brigadier General Lazaros Nakos, on operational matters and the mission of the Formation.
