The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias visited today, Tuesday 31 March 2026, the United Arab Emirates where he was received at the Al Ain Military Airport in Abu Dhabi by the country’s Minister of State for Defence Affairs Mohamed Bin Mubarak Bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei.
At the meeting between the two Ministers, which was held at the “Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College”, views on the latest developments and the security situation in the broader area were exchanged.
Afterwards, the Minister of National Defence was received by the President of the United Arab Emirates Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The meeting was also joined by the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Mr. Mazrouei.
Mr. Dendias also met in Abu Dhabi with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to whom he reiterated Greece’s unwavering support.
