The Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, visits the United States of America, to have contacts with military, political bodies and bodies of the Diaspora.

The Minister of National Defence will meet, among others, the Fort Sill Military Base in Oklahoma, which specializes in anti-aircraft air defence, as well as in confronting and counteracting UAVs.

Mr. Dendias will then visit Chicago, where he will meet with His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael of Chicago, he will visit the Greek School KORAIS, and he will also meet with the State Secretary of Illinois, Alexi Giannoulias.

In Chicago, the Minister of National Defence will participate and make an address at the ceremony for the award of David Harris, former CEO of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), co-organised by the American Jewish Committee (AJC) and the Hellenic American Leadership Council (HALC). The event will be held at the National Hellenic Museum.

Mr. Dendias will also participate in a discussion organized by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, moderated by the Executive Director of the Hellenic American Leadership Council (HALC), Endy Zemenides.
