JOURNALIST: It is a difficult summer, particularly for defence.

N. PANAGHIOTOPOULOS: This is a challenge for everybody. This office has a burden of responsibility, but this will prove whether we are capable of dealing with difficult situations. I believe that we are. In every case, our objective is to work in order to maintain, as I said yesterday, and enhance the battleworthiness of the Armed Forces. We will make every possible effort in cooperation with the leadership and the excellent personnel of the Armed Forces to achieve it. We have already been taking the main action we should take as soldiers.

JOURNALIST: There is some action in the Aegean Sea, Mr. Minister.

N. PANAGHIOTOPOULOS: There was, there is and there still will be, but all the Greeks should trust the Armed Forces and their personnel. Thank you.
