The Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias will receive in the Ministry of National Defence on Monday 2 November 2026 (10.30 a.m.) his Portuguese counterpart Nuno Melo, who pays an official visit to Greece.
In the context of this visit, the signing of the Intergovernmental Agreement with Portugal, for the acquisition of three KC 390 EMBRAER aircraft, will take place in the presence of both Ministers.
The discussions between the delegations will focus on the possibilities for cooperation, exchange of know-how and development of common technological projects, emphasising advanced defence technology, the support to defence industry, and innovation. Matters regarding regional and international security will also be discussed.
