The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, following an invitation of the United Arab Emirates, visited the exhibition “Dubai Airshow 2017” where he was welcomed by the Vice President, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
 
He met the Minister of State for Defence Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Bin Ahmad Al Bowardi and they discussed matters of defence cooperation as well as matters that regard the wider area.
 
He also met with the Chief of the Air Force of the United Arab Emirates General Ibrahim Naser Mohammed Al Alawi.
 
Finally, the Minister of National Defence also met with General Khalifa Haftar.
