The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos accompanied by the Chief of HNDGS Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis and the Chief of HAGS Lieutenant General Vasileios Tellidis inaugurated the BELLEY bridge which has been installed by the 723th Engineer Battalion of the C Army Corps at the Holy Monastery of St. Gregorios, Mount Athos.

The Minister of National Defence stated, among other things, in his address:
 
“I wish to assure you that this project was not done by us. Neither the political nor the military leadership of the Ministry did this work. We just supported it. It was done by our Engineer, our Officers, NCOs and Soldiers who proved, by accomplishing this work within five days, what the Hellenic Armed Forces are capable of.”
