The oath taking ceremony of the new ensigns, Class 2018 was held at the Naval Academy in the presence of His Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos.

The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, the Alternate Minister of National Defence Fotis Kouvelis, the Chief HNDGS Evangelos Apostolakis HN, the Chief HAGS Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis and the Chief HNGS Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis HN attended the ceremony.

His Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic awarded the swords to the new Ensigns.
