In the presence of HE the President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos, the oath taking ceremony of newly commissioned Ensigns of 2017 class, was held at Hellenic Navy Academy.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, the Alternate Minister of National Defence Dimitris Vitsas, the Chief of HAGS Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, the Chief of HNGS Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis and the Chief of HAFGS Lieutenant General Christos Christodoulou.
The newly commissioned Ensigns were awarded their swords by HE the President of the Hellenic Republic.
