The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, escorted by the Chief of HNDGS Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN, has visited the Special Forces Exposition SOFEX 2018, in Amman, Jordan, reciprocating to an invitation of his Jordanian counterpart.
He has attended the opening ceremony of the Exposition SOFEX 2018, in the presence of the King of Jordan Abdullah B’.
He has met with the King of Jordan Abdullah B’, the Prime Minister Hani Al-Mulki and the President of the Jordanian Parliament Atef Tarawneh.
They have exchanged views on issues of bilateral defence cooperation as well as ways to improve and extend it. There has also been concurrence of views with respect to the situation of security and the problems faced in our wider region, whereas an agreement has been reached on ways of cooperation aiming at the extension and enhancement of the stability arch in the Southeastern Mediterranean region
