The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, met in Tel Aviv with his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Liberman, in the context of the close and friendly relations between Greece and Israel and the close cooperation between the two Defence Ministries, all based on a common perception on regional developments and serving vital national interests.  

Prior to his departure to Tel Aviv, the Minister of National Defence met with the Israeli Armed Forces Chief, General Gadi Eisenkot, during his official visit to Greece.
