The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos, in the context of his official visit to India, laid a wreath at India Gate. Afterwards, he met with India’s Minister of Defence Manohar Parrikar and the Minister of State for External Affairs Vijay Kumar Singh.
Both sides agreed to enhance their cooperation in the field of defence industry as well as in the field of cooperation of the three branches.
The discussions of the Greek Minister of National Defence with India’s Minister of Defence and Minister of State for External Affairs extended also on issues of security in the wider region.
The Minister of National Defence accompanied by a delegation of state and private defence industries will attend a defence industry forum of the two countries, on Saturday, December 19, 2015.
The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos handed his Indian counterpart an invitation by the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras addressed to the Indian Prime Minister to visit Greece.
