The Minister of National Defence Panos Kammenos participates in the NATO Summit held in Brussels.
The Defence Ministers Meeting, held in the context of the Summit, approved the report on the allied force structure of NATO for the next 10 years. It also agreed that the Alliance will continue to respond to every security challenge equally regardless of its geographical origin. In this context, NATO will continue to face security challenges that come from the South, such as migration and terrorism.
The Minister of National Defence underscored the stabilizing role of Greece in the area of South-Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean Sea, as a pillar of stability and multilateral defence cooperation.
